Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Siwai or Jhinu Danda, which takes about 3–4 hours by jeep. From the drop-off point, you’ll start trekking towards Chhomrong. The trail offers a gentle ascent through terraced fields and charming Gurung villages, with the first views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre. Chhomrong is a beautiful village perched on a hillside, serving as the gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary. You’ll spend the night here.
Day 2: Chhomrong to Bamboo (2,310m)
Trek Distance : 8km
Highest Altitude : 2,310 meters.
Today, the trek begins with a descent to the Chhomrong Khola, followed by a steep ascent to Sinuwa. The peaceful surroundings and cool forest air make this a refreshing day on the trail. Overnight stay in Bamboo.
Day 3: Bamboo to Deurali (3,230m)
Trek Distance : 10km
Highest Altitude : 3,230 meters.
From Bamboo, the trail continues gradually uphill through forested terrain. You’ll pass Dovan and the Himalaya Hotel, with occasional glimpses of waterfalls and dramatic cliffs.
